I found myself constantly searching for snack options that were filling, craveable, and made with real ingredients—without all the processed extras that come with typical store-bought snacks (you know the ones… cue the crinkle of single-serve wrappers). Around the same time, growing awareness about rising colorectal cancer rates in people under 50—and the important role fiber plays in gut health—pushed me to rethink what we were eating at home.
That’s when I stepped into a new kind of “dating scene”… Medjool dates. I began creating wholesome, handcrafted stuffed dates that my family genuinely loved—made with simple ingredients and packed with natural goodness. When I realized how quickly they disappeared, I decided to take things to the next level and It’s a Date! was born.
